Social Responsibility - Log 6
- explain what you did in terms of social responsibility
- You must explain what level that is and why it is at that level
- Be specific about what you did... include events, people involved in the context
- finally you must explain the effect that your actions are having on the team the group or on other individuals
Last week I officially started working front of house. Since I am quite new to the front, I feel that I am only working at a level 3 in terms of social responsibility. I follow instructions (and follow the "rules"), and I set little goals. Whenever I am told to do something (work on a job for example stocking up items) I always do it exactly as instructed. I do what I am told whenever a supervisor asks me to do something. Whenever I do any of this I always set goals for myself. These little goals could include being extra nice to customers or even doing something new like making a drink. I set goals in order to help me learn new things faster and to make myself feel better. So far, this has affected everyone around me positively. My co workers are happy to have my out front with them as I am always helpful and compliant. I make it easier for them to train me. I think that having someone on the staff team like me who's always positive has affected the customers as well as they see me as a nice worker.
